How it Works

Our fantastic hotel partners donate their anticipated unsold rooms for charities to send their volunteers and staff on a well-earned break. We are simply the go-between that bridges the two together.

The Nomination Process

We like to keep things simple. A straightforward nomination system is essential for enabling as many Hidden Heroes as possible to be recognised which, after all, is what we are here for.

Hidden Heroes are nominated by charity managers and those in senior positions through our nomination page. We only ask for:

  • The name and email address of the nominator
  • The name of the nominee
  • The compelling reason/s behind their nomination.

Once the nomination is approved, the nominator will be sent confirmation and a certificate to present to the Hidden Hero. We love to see these pictures and share the inspirational stories we hear about through our #theheroesthursday social media feature and spread the word about the amazing work your charity does!

We will also send a link for the Hidden Hero to book their stay from a choice of 130+ hotels in locations all over the UK. There are no hidden costs, the only condition is that all rooms are subject to availability.
