We are delighted to be bringing Relax to Reward back for a winter sun (fingers crossed!) treat at top R2R supporters and stunning hotel on Bournemouth’s award-winning seafront, The Nici, in February.

Featuring yoga, pilates, nutrition, breathwork and meditation, aqua aerobics, art, circuits, sound bowls, spin, spa, skincare, sacred fire ceremonies and more, this is a well-being day with something for everyone.

When I found breathwork, my very first session cracked me open – grief, rage, joy, and love moved through me, releasing old self-beliefs I didn’t even know I was holding. And with that release came peace and clarity I had never known. Over time, breathwork became my medicine: it helped me regulate my nervous system, reconnect with my body, trust my intuition, and speak my truth with more freedom.
This practice has become the heart of my work. For almost seven years I’ve guided thousands of people through breathwork, weaving in music, movement, reflection and creativity. I bring with me twenty years’ experience in the creative industries – from Saatchi & Saatchi to supporting women in building aligned businesses – alongside my training as a counsellor and Qoya teacher. And always, I bring the lived wisdom of being a mother, partner, and woman who has walked her own path of love, sobriety, resilience and self-discovery.
My deepest desire is simple: to help you reconnect with yourself – your breath, your body, your truth – so you can love and accept all parts of who you are.

Casey
Casey founded Tide in 2020 when it all started with beach Pilates. A fitness afficionado, she studied Dance and Drama at University. Casey has a passion for being outside and soaking up the sun, so when these passions were combined with Pilates and Barre everything fell into place.
Through teaching Casey aims to inspire and encourage as many people as possible to strengthen, lengthen and connect to their bodies and embrace that almighty burn.

Vinyasa Yoga

Practice manager and head yoga teacher for Natural Healing. Meri is at the heart of Natural Healing, blending her role as Practice Manager with her passion for yoga. A 500 hour YTT certified teacher, she began her journey in India, where she completed her first teacher training, and later expanded her practice with further training in Costa Rica. Her belief in the power of natural healing influences not only her teaching but also the way she nurtures and manages the space. Meri teaches yoga because she has experienced first hand the impact it can have on life and feels fulfilled witnessing that same spark igniting in others. With a strong desire to support and uplift, she believes there is a form of yoga practice for everyone.
This Vinyasa class combines fun, creative sequencing with thoughtful themes from yogic philosophy, guiding students out of their minds and into their bodies. Expect a dynamic flow with options for different levels, gentle challenges and plenty of encouragement to explore what’s possible – leaving you feeling energised, supported and connected.

Breathe & Meditate

Josh is a Doctor of Chiropractic, Yoga therapist and the founder of Natural Healing. His journey into healing began after a transformative trip to India in 2016, where yoga, meditation, and breathwork deepened his connection to the body, mind & spirit relationship.

His work is guided by a genuine desire to help others feel their best and live with greater balance and ease, with the belief that true healing comes from seeing the person as a whole and creating space for awareness, compassion, and connection. This intention is felt in every session and class he leads.

Josh holds a Master’s degree in Chiropractic (Welsh Institute of Chiropractic), is trained in Medical Acupuncture, Kinesiology Taping, and has completed over 1350hrs of Yoga Teacher Trainings in India, Greece and Uk as well as Vipassana Silent Meditation trainings at International Meditation Centre..

At Room to Reward, Josh will be leading his popular Breathe & Meditate class – a deeply insightful experience and a favourite at the Natural Healing Studio. A calming class using gentle breathwork and guided meditation to quiet the mind, ease tension, and support emotional wellbeing.

Ben Winter – Art

Ben Winter is a Dorset based artist working across a range of media. A graduate of Central St Martins (BA (Hons) Fine Art Painting, he combines a deep respect for traditional drawing with an evolving interest in how one still expresses representation through degrees of abstraction.
Whatever the subject matter, his work explores the interplay of light, colour and composition to create mood, emotion, atmosphere and visual rhythm. Rooted in observation and traditional techniques, he seeks to balance discipline with expression, structure with spontaneity.

Draw and Paint Your Emotions
In this class Ben will (hopefully!) enable you to explore and play with how colour and mark making can be used to express, represent and manifest your mood, feelings & emotions.
No rules, just fun……..but be aware, it may get messy!

Circuits

Jo is a PT who has been working at The Nici for 18 months (and a fab R2R volunteer for over 2 years!). She thoroughly enjoys her morning classes, the members are upbeat and always eager and keen to learn new circuits. They leave feeling energised and ready to face the day. Jo keeps her classes small so she can demonstrate, observe and correct form easily. She makes sure each person uses the correct weight, this helps prevent over lifting which reduces the risk of injuries.
Jo also trains private clients and gives comprehensive nutrition and wellbeing advice. She is currently training to be a qualified Menopause focused PT, which she finds is a subject close to her heart and she can’t wait to help all of those who need it.
Circuits
A group PT body conditioning circuit that involves endurance, resistance and strength training. This class will use body weight, medicine balls, resistance bands and dumbbells. This class will help to build strength and make muscles and bones stronger, therefore supporting mobility and functionality.

Reformer Taster Sessions

Lauren always believed that movement makes things better – both mentally and physically – and this philosophy built the core foundation of her practice. Personally, Pilates served as a main source of healing while she was seriously ill in 1999, which then inspired her to get certified in 2002. She has been happily teaching ever since.

Lauren’s initial certification in Pilates was through Power Pilates in Chicago, Illinois and then continued to study at the Pilates Centre in Boulder, Colorado and the renowned FAMI School in New York City. Most recently, Lauren was certified in the Bowen Technique and has continued to extensively study anatomy with Julian Baker at Functional Fascia in the UK.

Lauren’s teaching style has been shaped by her varied education. This allows her to continually evolve her teaching style creating unique, fun and challenging practices for all of her clients.

Muay Thai

Gemma has been training in Muay Thai for 9 years now and has been coaching Muay Thai and Boxing fitness for the last 5 years. Gemma offers 1:1 and small group coaching on Mondays, specialising in Muay Thai Fundamentals and boxing Fitness as well as a Muay Thai Bootcamp at Wassmuffin martial arts Wednesday mornings and outdoor circuit training on the beach on Fridays.

Sound Studio – Soundbaths

Sam created Sound Studio nearly 2 years ago. She is a sound therapist who creates deeply restorative soundbath experiences designed to calm the nervous system, release stress, and reconnect people with a sense of inner balance. Working across beautiful wellness spaces including SU Studio, Chewton Glen, and other locations, Sam offers immersive sessions that blend therapeutic sound with mindful intention.

Yogalates – Pilates core work meets gentle Vinyasa flow

Join Jess for an all levels class to refresh and energise your body and mind. This yoga-pilates fusion class blends the core work of Pilates with the stretching and calm of yoga. You will be guided through a gentle series of flowing movements to help relieve stress and tension and leave you feeling uplifted mentally and physically.

Jess has a background in theatre and acting, with numerous professional credits including the West End. Whilst performing 8 shows a week, Pilates and Yoga became an essential part of her wellness routine and this led her into training and becoming an instructor – and she’s never looked back! Now a regular instructor at The Nici, she enjoys sharing her passion for movement through her Yoga and Pilates sessions. Expect to leave the class feeling positive, refreshed and calm.
