“Mr & Mrs Went, they are Colchester based, run a charity in Uganda for children that are unable to attend due to lack of funds, orphaned, aids affected etc. They have built several schools and now have in excess of 400 children they help, they also have a home for teenagers who are parent less. This couple make us proud to know them as they continue to bless others each and every day. They cannot spend as much time in Uganda as they used to but they have built a great team in Uganda whilst they are away. “Thank you so much for our stay at Dalhousie Castle this week. We really enjoyed our stay and really relaxed there. James, the General Manager, made us very welcome and gave us a tour of the castle telling us of its history. The food in the Dungeon restaurant was amazing, one of the best meals we have ever tasted.
We had a room in one of the corners of the castle which had a little study area in a turret where Beryl was able to study for a Ladies conference this weekend. The whole place was very peaceful.”
