Focus Hotels has increased its support of Room to Reward with the addition of two more properties to the initiative. Hotel Colessio, Stirling, and Hotel Indigo, Dundee will donate anticipated unsold rooms to the charity, created to provide complimentary breaks to society’s Hidden Heroes.
Room to Reward works on a simple premise. Hotels donate their unsold rooms to the scheme, registered charities nominate their Hidden Heroes – exceptional staff and volunteers who truly make a difference – for a break, Room to Reward brings it all together.
Adam Terpening – Charity Director – said: “Focus Hotels have been wonderful supporters of Room to Reward and the donation of two more hotels is fantastic news for us.
“The next stage in our development as a charity is to increase our presence across the U.K. and the addition of two Scottish properties is a great step in that direction. The wider our spread, the more Hidden Heroes we will be able to thank.
We are extremely grateful to Focus Hotels for their generosity and continued support.”
Founded in 2015, Room to Reward now partners with almost 200 hotels throughout the U.K. and has donated more than £125,000 worth of hotel breaks.
Focus Hotels first partnered with the charity in 2017, pledging 10 properties to the initiative.
Peter Cashman, CEO of Focus Hotels Management, said: “We are delighted to add Hotel Colessio and Hotel Indigo to the Room to Reward scheme. It’s such a simple and brilliant way for the hotel industry to make a difference and say ‘thank you’ to those who do so much for others. We look forward to welcoming these Hidden Heroes.”
