Room to Reward are delighted to welcome Rockliffe Hall as the latest prestigious property to pledge support to the unique hospitality charity. The five-star golf and spa hotel will donate their unsold rooms to the scheme to enable charities and community groups to give ‘thank you’ breaks to their inspirational volunteers.
Jason Adams, the newly appointed Managing Director at the property, said: “We are very proud to be joining Room to Reward. It’s a brilliant charity that enables us to recognise the wonderful dedication of some amazing people who do so much for others. It’s a fantastic initiative for any hotelier to be part of and we look forward to welcoming some Hidden Heroes to Rockliffe Hall soon.”
Located in the quiet village of Hurworth – on the edge of the County Durham and North Yorkshire border – Rockliffe Hall offers guests an award-winning spa, 18-hole championship golf course and a wide range of restaurant and dining options.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have Rockliffe Hall join our journey,” said Adam Terpening, Charity Director of Room to Reward. “Jason has been a great supporter of ours for a number of years and to have his new property in the scheme gives our Hidden Heroes another wonderful choice for their well-earned break. It’s a stunning hotel that I’m certain will provide some truly memorable experiences for some wonderful volunteers.”
Founded in 2015, Room to Reward now partners with over 500 hotels across the U.K. More than £500,000 worth of breaks in unsold rooms have been donated to over 1000 volunteers, nominated by their charities and communities.
The charity aims to have donated over £1million worth of breaks by the end of this year.
